Thanks to the six of you who came out to the VIP (Vision-Information-Prayer) Time last week.

PLEASE, Remember to come out for this important, 5 minute, once a month prayer time.

Here is the video about this week's lesson.  Below are a couple of ideas to use in the classroom to help teach/illustrate this passage.

Language differences:

• Take it back to Babel.  Do you remember when we study the Tower of Babel, the sin of the people and the punishment from God (Confusion of Languages).  When the Holy Spirit comes this confusion of languages is temporarily gone.   This problem is not a problem at that time.
• Show it.  Go to biblegateway.com or another online resource and listen to this week's story in a different language.

Power Source:

• They received power when the Holy Spirit came.  Demonstrate this idea of connectedness by using some electrical appliances.  What good is a hair dryer if it is not plugged in?  What good is a radio if it is not plugged in?

These meeting times are only  about 5 minutes in length.

Egg Hunt & Teacher Direction sheet

Here is the Easter Egg Hunt Schedule:

9:00

2&3 combined= hunt in room *give teachers eggs to hide

PreK & K = hunt in hall and gathering room *hide eggs at 9:30

1-5 = hunt in 400 wing *hide eggs ahead

 

10:30

2's = hunt in room *give teachers eggs

3's & PreK = hunt in hall & gathering area hide eggs at 11:00

K-3rd = hunt in chapel wing * hide eggs ahead

 

**all kids get a max of 3 eggs**

Resurrection Sunday: Video & Jelly Bean Prayer

Plan to review the Resurrection story with the kids this week!
