Exciting Things In Our EKIDZ Children's Ministry

As we begin this new ministry year I want to make you aware of some changes in EBC’s children’s ministry.  The children’s ministry coordinator description has been changed.  The new description has been expanded and reflects a desire to help the growing ministries of UPWARD, Sonshine and Mom’s Matter connect even more with our mission, other ministries and one another.  The children’s ministry coordinator will not be the director of all these programs but will be working with the leaders of these ministries to help children and families glorify God by becoming growing disciples at Emmanuel.

If you are an EKIDZ worker, there is more information regarding this ministry is in your mailbox.  An email will be sent to you this week!

Exciting things throughout the summer and going into the fall will be posted here!
Updates from Junior Week @ Camp Patmos!
Exciting Fall and Winter ministry opportunities!

Vision, Information & Prayer

This Sunday, July 12, is our Vision - Information - Prayer Time.

If you are serving this month, plan to come to one of three 5 minute prayer times.
If you are not serving this month, you are still welcome to join for this time.

These prayer times are at 8:45, 10:15 or 15 minutes after the service finishes in the children's chapel.

VISION
Here is what is going to be shared during the VISION time.
A vision that looks toward inefficiency
We desire excellence and quality in our children's ministry BUT
the inefficiency comes when we challenge parents to talk with their kids about the Bible lesson and what they learned at church.
Some parents will not even begin this conversation with their child or children.
Some parents will try to begin this conversations but it will not go well.
Other parents will have a great time of talking with their children.

The same parents might fall into a different group each week.
I want to encourage you to continue discipling children and parents. in their walks with Jesus!

INFORMATION
Update of what we are doing with our Bible memory verses and prayer themes.

PRAYER
We have had a number of new family visit or express interest in coming to Emmanuel.
As we connect with these family, pray they would come to know Christ as their Savior and grow closer to Him.
We also need to pray for more disciplemakers with our children and family.
