Holy is pure and completely other, different
One way to explain holiness to children...
4 pieces of poster board (3 white and 1 a different color)
THIS ILLUSTRATES PURITY:
Keep one paper "pure" white - God
Put some black dots on another white on - person with a little bit of sin
Put a lot more black dots on 3rd white - person with a lot of sin
POINT: While the one with less black dots is whiter than the 3rd poster board, it is not pure compared to the 2nd one.
THIS ILLUSTRATES COMPLETELY OTHER, DIFFERENT:
These two are very different. Different colors.
