REMEMBER THE BIGGEST POINT OF THIS STORY IS...
God saves His people.

Gideon is not the hero.
The army of 300 is not the hero.
GOD IS THE HERO!  He is the one who saves the people.

I want to encourage to use your opportunities to teach as opportunities to learn and grow.

What we would love parents to talk about and do with their children:
Ask your child these questions:
- Why were the Israelites suffering under the Midianites?
- What happened during the Midianite defeat?

Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:
- By admitting that he is unworthy of God’s grace and deliverance.
- By being ready to be used as an instrument for God’s glory.
