Lesson Plan Notebooks 2 years old through 5th grade

Lesson Plan Notebooks should include the following additional sheeets:
1.  Green - Lesson Plan Information

2.  Blue - December Missionary Prayer Letters

3.  Pink - Introduction to Samuel

4.  First White Page - Differences between the 9:00 am & 10:30 am class.

This is the information on the "Differences Between the 9:00 am & 10:30 am classes...

Below are lists of activities for each of the class times.  Please make sure these things happen during the assigned times.  If something is not specifically     assigned to the class you are teaching, you can still do it.   Plan to do at least the items assigned to your classtime.  If you have any questions please (drodgers@emmanuelbaptist.com).or call Pastor Dave .

Bible Teaching
9:00—10:00

More detailed Bible story time
· So that kids could help with details during the 2nd hour.
· This might encourage some parents to come to a class.
· Children attending will be more consistent.

Craft/Activity
· Kids arrive at various times
· Could work at the beginning or end of the class on projects as kids enter the class.

Games/Questions about the story
· Preparation for questions and activities asked at 10:30


Worship Service
10:30—11:45

Bible story time mixed with questions .
Interaction that will help children    discuss the lesson at home.
· Use the parent questions from the        Ministry Guide.

Bible  memory
· More kids taking the verse home

Connecting kids with other kids.
· The worship service is when we will have the most visitors.
· Some ideas include name games and group activities

Music (if possible)


During Both Hours

Missionary and Ministry (m&m’s)
· Jenifer Christiaanse will get together a list of requests from the  missionaries. 
· We will try to have an updated picture also.

Offering

Bible story that focuses on God.  Remember God is the hero of the Bible.
· The hero of David and Goliath is not a shepherd.  It is the God who used the shepherd boy to defeat the giant. 

Reading from the Bible not merely worksheets
· The students need to see you reading from the Bible.
