Last week the lesson was Ruth and the Sovereignty of God. I am going to share these things with parents on the EKIDZ parent blog.
Two questions to think about:
Q1. How do I talk to my class about the sovereignty of God?
A1. God is the boss. And He is a good, loving, all-powerful BOSS!
Q2. How do I transition from Ruth to Christmas?
A2. The Christmas story begins with a genealogy. Ruth ends with a genealogy. Boaz fathered Obed. Obed fathered Jesse. Jesse fathered David. Ruth is in the genealogy of Jesus.
Passage: Matthew 1:1—25
